November 2007 Breakfast Forum

On Tuesday, November 13th, 2007, Brigadier General Errol R. Schwartz spoke at The Lincoln Institute Breakfast Forum at the University Club in Washington, D.C.  In honor of Veterans Day, we hosted Brigadier General Errol R. Schwartz, Adjutant General of the District of Columbia Army National Guard, and honored his service and all those who serve or who have served our nation.

General Schwartz’s military career began when he enlisted in the DC Army National Guard in 1976. He was commissioned in June 1979 and has risen steadily in the ranks. President Bush appointed him to his current post in 2003.

General Schwartz earned his BS in Electrical Engineering at the University of the District of Columbia in 1980 and he has two master’s degrees; in business management from Central Michigan University and in national security strategy from the National Defense University.
