On Tuesday, Tuesday, October 14th,
Ronald Court,
co-founder of the Booker T. Washington Society,
spoke at The Lincoln
Institute Breakfast Forum.
Ron talked about Booker T. Washington and the programs of the
Booker T. Washington Society over breakfast.
Guests enjoyed learning about the Booker T. Washington Society and its
scholarship program for high school students. The $1,000 scholarship can be
applied to a post-high school collegiate, trade or vocational education.
Students applying for one of these scholarships write an essay on the topic:
“Based on your study of Booker T. Washington, what lessons have you learned and
how will you apply them to your life?”
